Scholar Program Requirements

Students from the Career Academy Network of Public Schools (CANOPS) who meet the following qualifications and complete the application process will be considered for financial assistance as they continue their education after high school. This includes students planning to attend a 4‑year college, 2‑year college, apprenticeship program, or job‑training/certification program

  • Student of Career Academy Network of Public Schools

  • Maintained a 3.0 GPA in the last two years of high school

  • Plan to pursue one of the following: bachelor’s degree, associate degree, technical or professional certification program, or apprenticeship

  • Have filed or will be filing a FAFSA

  • Have filed to be a Century 21 Scholar, if applicable

  • Will be attending an Indiana based college, university, or program.

  • Have unmet financial needs based on the SAI (Student Aid Index determined by FAFSA), or household income and size, and dependent upon the Cost of Attendance of the school/program you will attend.

Preference will be given to students pursuing STEM-related, teaching, or local-labor shortage career paths.

We know every student’s story is different. If you’re motivated to continue your education or training after high school, we encourage you to apply—even if you don’t meet every eligibility requirement. The board reserves the right to consider any CANOPS student who applies.
