How do I apply ?

Fill out an online application. Once we receive notification of your application, we will contact you and request a copy of Student Aid Report from your FAFSA, if available, and a signed release form for GSSP to receive your high school credentials from CASB. If you need a paper application, please contact the CASB guidance department.

When do I apply?

Applications can be submitted between Jan 1 and the end of your senior year.

What if I don’t meet all the requirements?

Apply anyway to see if you may be eligible due to special circumstances

When will I know if I am receiving a grant/scholarship?

We will notify you within 2 to 3 weeks if you qualify for the program.

On the application, what is Household income?

Include income from all sources in the household that consistently contributes to caring for the household.

How do I receive funding?

If you are accepted to the program, we will stay in close contact with you regarding your financial needs. We will require your attending school’s final invoice for the term, after all other aid and scholarships are applied, to be submitted GSSP.

Do I have to reapply each year ?

No, there is no need to reapply once accepted into the program, but you will need to complete the requirements for funding renewal. See Below.

Will the amount I receive change each year ?

The funds distributed are based on need and will be re-evaluated each year.

How do I renew my funding each year ?

Renewal is contingent on being in good standing with your school of attendance, and meeting your school’s eligibility requirements to maintain any aid and/or university scholarships.

Additionally, you will need to submit your updated Student Aid Report from your FAFSA and send a transcript (official or unofficial) at the completion of each academic calendar year to GSSP.
